An exhibition of drawings and comics by faculty member Martha Newbigging created within their doctoral research project.
“Experiments in drawing turned to queerness in childhood as the puzzle of an unintelligible subject. Drawing to attend to moments of significance. Approaching not with words, rather with gesture, with marks, with touch. Drawing to charm and care for the self. As my mother said, drawing is more than seeing.”

Special Projects Gallery at York University is accessible by Ontario standards and is on the main floor of the Accolade West Building of York University. There is an accessible washroom on the same level. The nearby subway TTC is wheelchair accessible.
