“Live Comics” at the Art Gallery of Ontario

As part of Seneca’s sponsorship of the upcoming AGO exhibition, From the Forest to the Sea: Emily Carr in British Columbia, students from the College’s Independent Illustration diploma, led by faculty JoAnn Purcell and Martha Newbigging, will create a “live comics” response to this exciting exhibit.

These illustrative performances will happen during FREE Wednesday nights at the AGO, from 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM on April 15, 22, 29, and May 6, 2015.

Comics are a contemporary expressive format that combine image and text to create new intersections and insights.
